Texas Women’s League to Hold Spring Gala

The public is invited to attend the Texas Women’s League, TWL, 2024 Spring Gala Saturday, March 2 at the Fair Pavilion at the Fayette County Fair Grounds. All money raised at this year’s gala will fund twenty-nine nonprofit organizations serving Fayette County.

The TWL accepts applications for funding from any nonprofit organization as long as the organization located in or provide services for Fayette County, has been in existence for at least one year, is a certified nonprofit organization, and holds a current 501(c)(3) designation by the IRS. All accepted organizations are then awarded the monies raised at each spring’s gala.

This year TWL hopes to support A Then A New Day, Blinn College Foundation for Alliance for College & Career Student Success (ACCSS), Bugle Boy Foundation, Camp Invention, CASA of Bastrop, Fayette & Lee Counties, Combined Community Action, Elevate Student Ministry, Faith Lutheran High School of Central Texas, Family Crisis Center, Fayette County Community Theatre, Fayette County Habitat for Humanity, Fayette Electric Cooperative Charitable Fund, Fixpatrick’s Garage Foundation, Hospice Brazos Valley, Inc, La Grange Brazos Valley, Inc, La Grange Education Support Program Foundation, Mt. Calvary Lutheran Preschool, Navidad Valley Community Connections, Parents As Teachers of Rural South Central Texas, Polka Lovers Club of Texas Museum, Round Top Festival Institute, Round Top Library Association, Round Top-Carmine Education Foundation, Sacred Heart Catholic School, Schulenburg Library Foundation, Inc., St Paul LYO, Stevens Chapel United Methodist Church, Tejas Ministries, and the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center.

The gala will feature dinner service and beverages by Celebrations! Catering, a live and silent auction hosted by locally know auctioneer, Lee Fritsch, and live music and dancing by the entertaining band, the Newsboys. Doors open and 6 p.m.
