Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $5,000 to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Posse (FCSP). Monies granted will be used to help sponsor the 18th Annual Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association’s Ram Rodeo. The mission of the organization is to support area youth through scholarship opportunities, provide a facility for local events, and to create a venue for families to be active in the community. Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $25,000 to the Turtle Wing Foundation. Monies donated will be used to provide therapeutic, educational and recreational financial aid scholarships. The Turtle Wing Foundation helps individuals in rural areas with learning challenges achieve their full potential by providing access to a shared network of emotional, educational and therapeutic resources. Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $17,500 to Building Resilience Inclusion Diversity and Growth thru Education (BRIDGE). Monies donated will be used to fund the organization’s programs entitled Books Build Bridges, Shifting Our Crowns and the Youth Mental Health Conference. The mission of the group is to bridge the gap in education, community and health access in rural and underserved areas by fostering knowledge empowerment. Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $16,000 to Career Tracks. Monies granted will be used to fund the Fayette County Care and Response Training Initiative which will train five Certified Nursing Assistants and five Emergency Medical Technicians. The mission of the organization is to engage, empower, and employ citizens in rural communities in Central Texas by connecting jobseekers to industry-based credentialed courses and assisting in job placement.
