Stations on the Move

Two more of the historic Stations of the Cross on the grounds of Holy Rosary Catholic Church were temporarily on the move recently to accommodate construction work on the new church there, which is still on track to be completed next spring. The fourteen outdoor stations of the cross were installed in 1933 which are similar to the stations at the Church of Our Lady of Hostyn on Hostyn Mount, Moravia, Czechoslovakia. As you can see above, workers had to dig pretty deeply to safely get the stations out of the ground. They will be put back with equal care.
