Ellinger Chamber to Host “Christmas in July” Bingo

Residents and visitors alike are invited to celebrate a little holiday cheer in the middle of summer as the Ellinger C of C Hall hosts its Christmas in July Special Bingo event on Sunday, July 12.

The festive event promises an afternoon of bingo, food, and community fun, with more than $5,000 in prize payouts available throughout the day.

Doors open at 11 a.m., with the kitchen beginning service at 12 p.m. Bingo games are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a menu featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, desserts, and refreshments while participating in the games.

The event’s featured prize is $2,000 in Cover All games, consisting of two $1,000 cover- all jackpots. Each jackpot must be won within 54 calls, or a $250 consolation prize will be awarded if no winner is declared.

In addition to the grand prize, players will compete for: 15 regular bingo games with $100 payouts each, totaling $1,500; two guaranteed $500 jackpots, for a combined $1,000; a 4-in-1 specialty game offering $500 in prizes, including: straight line, $100; X pattern, $100; picture Frame, $100; cover all, $200.

The event also highlights a $500 Bonus Fayette County Sheriff’s Memorial & Benevolent Society Jackpot. Players who make a $10 donation during bingo will receive a special entry for the bonus drawing. The organization provides financial assistance, disaster relief, and support for the families of fallen and injured law enforcement officers in Fayette County.
