Dinner and Dancing Under the Stars Set for July 18

The annual Dinner and Dancing under the Stars event will be held on Saturday, July 18 at the Rutersville Hermann Sons Lodge. Dinner begins at 5 p.m. for a free will fried chicken and sausage meal. Dine in is preferred. At 6 p.m., music will be by The Back Porch Boys. There will also be a live and silent auction. Bring your own beverages and lawn chairs. All proceeds benefit Lutherhill and this event is hosted by SLM and St. Paul Lutheran in La Grange.

St. Paul Lutheran Church Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic Church holds Mass on Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Ellinger Chamber 

Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will host the next bingo on July 12.

The chamber will meet in the chamber dining hall on Tuesday, July 14 at 7 p.m. All chamber and community members are invited.

Ellinger Sewer and Water ESW will meet on Monday,

July 13 at 6 p.m. at the fire station.
