Stanzel Family Foundation Hosts Second Annual Scholar Social

The Stanzel Family Foundation held its second annual Scholar Social on July 6, welcoming 13 new Stanzel Scholars.
The Foundation held the social at the Stanzel ModelAircraft Museum at 311 Baumgarten St. in Schulenburg. The Scholars heard encouraging words from the board president, were awarded a pen engraved with their name and had an opportunity to tour the museum to learn the history of the foundation and the spirit of the Stanzel Scholarship. There was also an opportunity to network with Foundation staff, directors and other Stanzel Scholar Alumni.
Since 1991, over 500 students from the Schulenburg and Weimar areas have been awarded the Joseph and Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship.
