Stacie Brown Promoted at Round Top Family Library
Round Top Family Library (RTFL) is pleased to announce that Stacie Brown has been promoted to the position of Library Operations and Financial Services Lead, effective March 1.
Stacie joined RTFL in 2023 as Bookkeeper and has served the organization with dedication, professionalism, and care. Recently, when an opportunity arose within the organization, RTFL leadership made the strategic decision to combine the roles of Library Manager and bookkeeper, creating a unified position to oversee both daily operations and financial services. Stacie is uniquely qualified to step into this expanded leadership role.
A proud sixth-generation Round Topian, Stacie’s maternal lineage (Boeker-Wagner) immigrated from Prussia/ Silesia/Germany in the 1850s and settled near Shelby. She is a graduate of Round Top-Carmine ISD, and both of her children have also attended RT-C, reflecting her deep roots and enduring commitment to the local community.
Stacie holds an A.A.S. in Administrative Assistant/ Secretarial Science, an A.S. in Liberal Arts, and certificates in Software Specialist and Administrative Office Specialist. In May 2023, she graduated magna cum laude from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of General Studies concentrated in psychology and English.
When Stacie assumed the role of bookkeeper in 2023, she was also beginning a new chapter in her personal life as a single mother. Reflecting on that time, she shares: “I found peace in the familiar routine as well as in the support and compassion of the people who work here and who serve on the Board. What was especially comforting to me is that many of the staff and Board members seek to understand and respect individual differences, values, and needs and are willing to accommodate where possible. I love the library itself for its beauty and regard for excellence, and I find the grounds and gardens especially rejuvenating.”
Her deep appreciation for the library, its mission, and its welcoming spirit has been evident in her work. In her new role, Stacie will oversee library operations while continuing to steward RTFL’s financial services with the same attention to detail and integrity that have distinguished her work thus far.
RTFL leadership is confident that this thoughtful consolidation of responsibilities will strengthen internal coordination, enhance service to patrons, and position the library for continued excellence.
Stacie is truly an asset to both this community and RTFL. Stop by and introduce yourself to our amazing team and congratulate Stacie on her well-deserved promotion.
