St. Rose of Lima Catholic School band students had the opportunity to compete at the Yoakum Bulldog Band Invitational Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday, May 4, in Yoakum.
Ensemble: Clare Besetzny, Elly Wotipka, Tenley Zbranek, Miranda Bonner, Brenley Bujnoch, Weston Hollas, Holden Holub, Cannon Lykke, Rilee Durfey, Brett Hollas, Layne Besetzny, Adam Schramek, Brock Seger, Mallory Bonner, Bo Brossmann, Caroline Bartek, William Eudy, and Anna Oeding.
The St. Rose Band received the Division One-Superior Rating Trophy.
Solos: Miranda Bonner, Bo Brossmann, Weston Hollas, Rilee Durfey, Brett Hollas, Brock Seger, Cannon Lykke, William Eudy and Caroline Bartek.
Each Soloist received: Division One-Superior Rating-1st Place Medal.
Overall Outstanding Musicians, over 800 performances from both High School and Junior High bands, 20 students were selected. Congratulations St. Rose students Brock Seger and Weston Hollas.
