Items up for bids include a this 2-year-old bred F1 Heifer, saddle, queen size quilt, and handmade cedar adirondack chair. Other items include a blue rosary, homemade pastries, deer feeder, and home canned products.
St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger will host their 73rd annual Bazaar on Sunday, Aug. 27. Starting at 10:30 a.m. there will be a drive-thru and dine-in meal at the Ellinger Chamber of Commerce Hall consisting of fried chicken, sausage and trimmings for $15 per plate. There will be a silent auction as well as a live miniauction with a limited number of items. Zach Novak will play Polka music for your enjoyment.
A raffle drawing for a $5,000 gift card first prize, a $2,000 gift card second prize, a $1,000 gift card third prize, fourteen $500 gift card prizes, and 22 additional prizes will be held in the early afternoon. Tickets for the drawing are available from the St. John’s/ St. Mary’s Parish Office, St. Mary’s parishioners, Fayetteville Bank or Round Top State Bank.
The online auction is open for bidding. There is a variety of valuable and unique items to bid on ranging from a twoyear- old heifer, a deer feeder, quilts, a saddle to home baked pastries, home décor, tools, etc.
