Smithville Community Clinic Hosting Gala March 14 in LG

The Smithville Community Clinic (SCC) is inviting the community to an evening of purpose, celebration, and generosity at its Annual Gala on Saturday, March 14, in La Grange, from 6-10 p.m. The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, where guests will gather in support of a mission that is changing and saving lives across Bastrop, Caldwell, and Fayette counties.

At the heart of the evening is a powerful purpose: raising critical funds to continue providing free healthcare to uninsured residents in the communities we serve.

For many of our neighbors, access to healthcare is not guaranteed. The Smithville Community Clinic exists to bridge that gap offering medical, dental, well-women’s, and mental health services at no cost to those who are uninsured. The Gala is more than a fundraiser; it is a community statement that everyone deserves access to compassionate, quality care.

Guests will enjoy an incredible steak or chicken dinner prepared by the talented KC Grill Masters, known for serving up hearty, crowdpleasing favorites. Dinner options will ensure a satisfying experience for all attendees, setting the tone for a night filled with warmth and community spirit.

The evening will also feature special guest Ben McPeak, whose songs promise to inspire and energize the crowd through his incredible music.

In addition to dinner and entertainment, attendees can look forward to a cash winning 50-50 raffle, silent auction, and an exciting live auction. From unique experiences to sought-after items, the auctions offer something for everyone and every bid directly supports healthcare services for local families in need.

Why It Matters

Every ticket purchased, every auction bid placed, and every sponsorship secured helps sustain the Clinic’s mission of providing free medical, dental, well-women’s, and mental health care to uninsured residents of Bastrop, Caldwell, and Fayette counties.

In a time when healthcare costs continue to rise, the Smithville Community Clinic remains committed to ensuring that financial hardship does not prevent someone from receiving essential care. The Gala is an opportunity for the community to stand together and make a meaningful impact.
