Smiles on the First Day of School

Fr. Brian Phillips (left) welcomed students and families back to Sacred Heart Catholic School in La Grange on the first day of the new school year on Wednesday, Aug. 16. He is pictured above with Dustin and Kelly Blackwell with their daughter Corbyn, who is entering Kindergarten this year. Principal LaDonna Voelkel reported a first-day enrollment of 108 students. Fr. Phillips said the school underwent extensive renovations over the summer, including new floors and ceiling tiles, new paint in all the classrooms, a new roof and remodeled restrooms for students and staff.
