Six Vying for Title of Fayette County Fair Queen

Six young ladies are vying for the title of 2022 Fayette County Fair Queen.

Ticket sales begin July 1. Season passes are $35 for all four days of the fair.

Online and in-person sales begin July 1.

Scholarships will be awarded to the winners on the opening evening of the fair, Thursday, Sept. 1, at the pageant, which will also feature the crowning of the Little Miss, Little Mister, Junior Miss Fayette County and 2022 Fayette Co. Fair Queen.

This year’s fair entertainment line-up includes Austin Meade, Ian Munsick, McBride and The Ride and Gene Watson along with a Go Tejano night. The fair runs Sept. 1-4.

The 2022 Fayette County Fair Queen Candidates are:

• Teagan Branch, Junior at La Grange High School, sponsored by Fayette Co. Sheriff’s Posse, daughter of Amanda and Bryan Branch

• Izela Cerda, Freshman at La Grange High School, sponsored by Francisco “Paco” Orona Scholarship, daughter of Yeli and Hector Cerda

• Alivia Eindorf, Sophomore at La Grange High School, sponsored by Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, daughter of Candace Kaiser and Kenny Eindorf

• Dulce Merlos, Junior at La Grange High School, sponsored by Optimist Club of La Grange, daughter of Kimberly Cruz

• Jennifer Statham, Senior at Fayetteville High School, sponsored by Fayetteville Lions Club, daughter of Francie and Dan Statham

• Addisan Wagner, Junior at Flatonia High School, sponsored by Flatonia Lions Club, daughter of Ben and Misti Wagner.
