Severe Weather Blows Through The County With More on the Way

A strong storm blew through Fayette County Monday, dropping more than three inches of rain in some areas, while leaving some northern parts of Fayette with just a few tenths of an inch. There was also hail reported in several areas. According to the LCRA weather station above La Grange, 1.7 inches fell in a three hour span Monday morning. While no more rain in forecast for this week, it’s going to turn bitterly cold as winds as high as 40 miles per hour blow through Thursday afternoon with Thursday night lows in the teens. It will barely climb above freezing until Saturday afternoon.
