Several Events Slated for New Year’s Eve
Sunday is New Year’s Eve, and celebrations will take place all over Fayette County. Listed below are some of festivities open to the public:
• The Fayette County Sheriff’s Posse will host a New Year’s Eve Dance at the La Grange Knights of Columbus Hall with music by Southbound 955. Tickets are presale only: $20 each or table of eight for $150. Social hour from 7-8 p.m., dance 8 p.m.midnight. For tickets, call or text (979) 966-2075.
• The Round Top Rifle Hall hosts a New Year’s Eve Dance with music by the Lost Cause Band. Doors open at 6 p.m., dance from 8:30 p.m.midnight. Bring goodies for the community snack table. Cornbread and black eyed peas served at midnight. Tickets are $20 each and are available at Round Top Mercantile or Round Top State Bank.
• Harmonie Hall in Shelby will host a New Year’s Eve Dance with music by Southern Daze from 8 p.m.-midnight. Tickets are $20 each, cash only at the door. Black eyed peas served at midnight.
• The Stone Cellar Dancehall in Round Top will host a New Year’s Eve dinner and dance with music by the Black Cat Choir. Tickets for the prime rib dinner and dance are $75, available at www. thestonecellartx.com. Champagne served at midnight.
• Holman Valley Steakhouse and Dancehall will host a New Year’s Eve dinner and dance with music by The Original Remnants.
