A Second Suspect in McDonald’s Robbery Arrested By LGPD

La Grange Police arrested a second suspect allegedly involved in the armed robbery at the McDonald’s Restaurant on Nov. 9, 2023, Police Chief David Gilbreath reports that investigators identified 22-year-old Mikael “PeeWee” Eans of La Grange as one of the suspects who robbed the La Grange McDonald’s at gunpoint on Nov. 9, 2023.

La Grange Officer Steven Haynie and Game Warden Shaun Bayless arrested Eans for aggravated robbery on Thursday, Jan. 26, after Eans showed up to municipal court for a traffic ticket.

That follows the arrest earlier this month of 22-yearold Morris Allan Cooper of Hallettsville, who turned himself into police. The robbers got away with $1,942 in cash. Gilbreath said there may be additional suspects involved with the robbery. The investigation continues, he said.
