Second Chance Donates to Senior Connections

Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $10,000 to Navidad Valley Community Connections (dba Senior Connections). Monies donated will be used for program expansion through kitchen upgrades of an upright refrigerator and freezer, a six-burner stove, and a 90X30 rolling stainless steel buffet/prep table. The organization provides a gathering place for active seniors who want to connect with others, stay engaged and have fun. Their program empowers older adults with information, social interaction and community involvement.
