Schulenburg Student Advances in Band

  • Yahaira Guerrero competed at the ATSSB All-Region auditions on trumpet in Smithville. Not only did she make the region band, but she came in 4th place on the 3A track (Schools 1A-3A participate in the 3A track). She has advanced to the Area Round where she will audition for a spot in the ATSSB State Honor Band. She will perform in concert with the region band in Bastrop on Jan. 28 at the Jerry Wilhelm Performing Arts Center.
