Schulenburg Police Report

Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of April 9-15.

Accident

On April 14, Officer Hailee Vincent responded to the 700 block of N. Kessler for a traffic accident. A citation was issued for disregarding a red light.

On April 15, Officer Chris Kalina worked a vehicle tricycle accident in the 100 block of Huser. Both riders were transported to Austin.

Animal Complaint

On April 10, Officer Gina Harden Code enforcement animal control officer responded to the 1300 block of Babylon for dogs running in a sewer plant.

Civil Matter

On April 15, Officer Juan Castilleja spoke with an individual at the police station in regard to a civil matter involving a customer at Dollar General.

Traffic Stop

On April 9, Officer MD Krenek stopped a driver in the 800 block of S. Kessler for speeding. Driver was issued a warning.

On April 11, Vincent stopped a driver in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone going 45 in a 25. Citation was issued.

On April 12, Officer Byron Powe stopped a driver in the 100 block of N. Kessler for an expired registration (5-21) Driver received a citation.

OnApril 13, Powe stopped a driver in the 100 block of N. Kessler for speeding in a school zone gong 41 in a 25. Driver received a citation.

OnApril 13, Powe stopped a driver in the 25 block of N. Kessler for expired registration (3-21) Driver received a citation for expired registration and no insurance.

OnApril 13, Powe stopped a driver in the 100 lock of N. Kessler for speeding in a school zone going 36 in a 25. Driver received a citation.

OnApril 13, Powe stopped a driver in the 100 block of N. Kessler for running a red light. Driver received a citation.

On April 15, Castilleja conducted a traffic stop in the 40 block of Kessler for noise and disorderly conduct and expired registration. Driver was issued a warning.
