Schulenburg Police Arrest Austin Couple for Marijuana and Gun

On Thursday, July 7, at approximately 8:28 pm, Officers with the Department conducted a traffic stop in the 600 blk Lyons Ave. on a green Ford F-150 for a traffic violation. Officers developed probable cause and a search of the vehicle was conducted. A usable amount of Marijuana, large amount of THC, and a firearm were located in the vehicle. Casey Quintanilla, 37 of Austin, was arrested for possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying a weapon. Stephanie Young-Quintanilla, 40 of Austin, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Both subjects were transported to the Fayette County Jail for booking.
