America’s Catholic schools are internationally acclaimed for their faith formation and academic excellence, providing students more than a scholastic education; Catholic schools ensure a broad, valued-added education emphasizing the lifelong development of moral, intellectual, physical, and social values in America’s young people. Developing servant leaders, faith-filled disciples, and enriched citizens in our communities.

Catholic schools provide $22.7 billion a year in savings to the Nation based on the average public school per pupil cost.

The graduation rate of Catholic school students is 98.9 percent, with 85.2 percent of Catholic high school graduates going on to college; St. Rose of Lima Catholic School celebrates their 133rd year and continues along with 5,938 other Catholic schools to produce students strongly dedicated to their faith, values, families, and communities by providing an intellectually stimulating environment rich in spiritual and moral development.

The National Catholic Education Association and the U. S. Conference of Catholic Bishops have designated Jan. 29 through Feb. 4, Catholic Schools Week in the United States of America, with their theme being “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.”
