New Life Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at 1215 N. Von Minden will host a New Years Party on Dec. 31 from 7-9 p.m. Bring your party hats and your favorite dessert, hors d’oeuvres and punch will be furnished.
Holiday Hours
La Grange City offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 1, 2024 in observance of New Year’s Day holiday. Waste Management will be off on New Year’s Day, Monday, Jan. 1, 2024. If your trash is normally picked up on Monday, it will get picked up on Tuesday. If your trash is on Tuesday, it will be picked up on Wednesday during New Year’s week. Rutersville Meeting
Hermann Sons Life Rutersville will have their regular monthly meeting Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024 at 7 p.m. Members are asked to bring stew, soup or desserts for the meal.

Photography Club
Everyone is welcome to join a Photography Club on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Round Top Church Christian Fellowship, 440 E. Mill St. in Round Top. Meet in the sanctuary. 17 and under welcome with a parent. All skill levels are welcome. Anyone with an interest in photography is welcome to attend.
LG ShowFund Fun Night
The 20th Annual La Grange Show Fund Fun Night will be held Jan. 13, 2024 at the Round Up Hall Fair Pavilion. The invitations have been mailed. There are single meal tickets for $50 and available for purchase at Fayette Savings Bank in La Grange or any Show Fund member. The single meal ticket includes entrance, a rib-eye steak dinner, drinks, dessert and opportunity to play games. This event directly supports the 4H and FFA students who participate in the Fayette County Livestock Show.
