RRNG to Discuss Sponsorship, Recruitment, and Retention
The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group (RNNG) is an opportunity for the organizations that do so much good in our rural communities to share their missions and visions, discuss community needs and partnership opportunities, bring in experts to facilitate growth and professionalism, and simply connect to maximize the efficiency and impact that participants can bring to Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca, and surrounding counties. This month, the gathering will be hosted by Texas Women’s League on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. The gathering will be held at the Frisch Auf Valley Country Club 575 Country Club Dr., La Grange.
Texas Women’s League board members, Tiffany Reid, Melanie Lira, Rhonda Moore, and Sofia Massey will be sharing information on successful Sponsorship, Recruitment and Retention. Building from the foundation of the history of Texas Women’s League and their mission of raising funds to support charitable works in Fayette County, facilitators will enlighten participants about the charities funded, their application process, the evolution of the point system and communication. A critical part of this process evolves around sponsorship. Texas Women’s League has raised and distributed over 1.6 million dollars since their inception. All nonprofits rely on fundraising. Texas Women’s League hopes to help build the sustainability of the charities they support by sharing the history of how they have developed sponsorships over the years, recruitment, retention, communication and networking. Finally, the Texas Women’s League board members will share infrastructure tips that have kept their working board and committees highly functional and efficient.
The Texas Women’s League is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves Fayette County residents by providing financial assistance to local charities, since 2004. Texas Women’s League has funded grants to 70 plus charitable organizations over the years, positively impacting the thousands who live here in our rural communities. The 501(c)3 non-profit charities funded are chosen through an annual grant application review and awards process. Grant funding is accomplished through the annual Texas Women’s League Gala, which will be held on March 4, this year.
