Round Top Restaurant Owner on Today Show

Tara Royer Steele, center, owner of Royer’s Pie Haven at 190 Henkel Street in Round Top, made a guest appearance Thursday in New York on NBC’s Today Show, during a special cooking segment with hosts Hoda Kotb, left, and Jenna Bush Hager, right. Steele shared a few of her favorite pie recipes from her cookbook “Eat. Pie. Love: 52 Devotions to Satisfy Your Mind, Body, and Soul.” She showed how to make a fruit-filled mixed berry pie and a salty, sweet chocolaty caramel pie.
