The Round Top Festival Institute Library Benefit Concert was supported this year through a generous donation from H-E-B. The H-E-B Community Investment Program contributes to nonprofit organizations that maintain an IRS 501(c)(3) designation and that operate within the immediate H-E-B marketing area. Helping communities for more than 100 years, HE- B has continued their valued support for the arts and humanities by contributing to the Festival Institute’s Bybee Library Annual Valentine’s Benefit and Adopt-A-Book program.

The annual Valentine Benefit and Concert is the major fundraiser for the Round Top Festival Institute Faith P. and Charles L. Bybee Library and Study Center. The program takes place next year on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 at 2 p.m. The benefit concert features Broadway tunes, American music and love-themed songs for all ages. After the concert the audience is invited on stage to join the musicians for a reception, silent auction and the Adopt-a-Book program. The musicians contribute their performance and all the silent auction items are donated by local businesses and artist in Fayette and Washington County. Funds raised go towards books and much needed archival supplies and preservation materials for the Library.

“We are very proud to have had H-E-B support this event as the major sponsor for the last five years,” stated Lamar Lentz, Associate Managing Director & Library and Museum Collections Curator.

Presenting the check to Festival Hill staff were La Grange H-E-B Store Director Donnie Lowes and HEB Partners Lance Barr, Kristi Green, and Kayla Clark.
