Round Top Family Library to Host Family Game Night
The Round Top Family Library is open Monday from 1:30-5:30 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
RTFL is starting a family game night to be held every second Saturday of the month from 2 to 5 p.m. Come to the Historic Rummel Haus for board games and lots of fun. Parent or guardian must be present. A light snack and water will be served.
Yoga is Mondays at 5 p.m., Art After School is Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 p.m., Chess Club is Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. and Kids Garden is Thursdays at 4 p.m.
Weekly Preschool story time for 3 and 4-year-old children takes places Wednesdays from 10:15-11 a.m. Preschoolers will hear an age-appropriate book and participate in activities. The parent or guardian must be present.
These are free programs and all are welcome to attend.

Spring Antique Show
The Round Top Spring Antique Show is in full-swing. Vendors are set up along Highway 237 as far as the eye can see. No matter which day of the week you come, there is sure to be tons of shopping, food, and live music to keep you entertained.
Most of the vendors are already open and have been welcoming visitors since last week Thursday, however the famous Big Red Barn and Margburger Farms aren’t open just yet. Both venues open Tuesday, March 28. These are ticketed shopping experiences, so you can save some time and purchase tickets on their websites.
The Arbors hosts a happy hour each evening from 3 to 6 p.m. with live music. Just down the road, The Halles is hosting two Butcher’s Ball Dinners on March 24 and 25, a Benjamin Moore Designer Dinner on March 26, a book signing and talk with designer Suzanne Kasler, and another one after with architect Bobby McAlpine on March 27, and Sip & Shop on March 28. Nathan Hinojosa will play at Busted Oaks Cellars Friday, March 24 from 6-9 p.m., Bill Pekar plays Saturday, March 25 from 3-6 p.m., and Mike Gallo performs Sunday, March 26 from 2-5 p.m. On Saturday, crawfish platters will be available from 3-6 p.m. for $31 per plate, or shrimp for $25 per plate. Tickets for the food are available online at Eventbrite. com. March 30 come out for Bingo Night from 6-8 p.m. A $5 entry fee will get you a card to play until prizes run out.
The Broken Group plays at the Stone Cellar Friday, March 24 at 7 p.m., and Randy Pavlock will be at 550 Market Sunday at 6 p.m. 550 Market is for 21 and older.

The Marketplace in Warrenton also has live music throughout the show. Sunday service with Joe and Kayla Kissel begins Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 28 there is a Corn Hole tournament from 5-8 p.m. with a $10 team buy-in. Winning team takes all.

Town of Round Top
The town of Round Top is currently looking for volunteers to work the polling place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 24-28, and May 1 and 2.
The Round Top Town Council will hold a public hearing for the Final Report on proposed changes to the round Top zoning ordinance and boundary map on Wednesday, April 5 at 6 p.m. at Round Top Town Hall. The final report is available for review at the Town Office located at 202 N. Live Oak Street and online at www.rttx.us.
Round Top Rifle Hall
The next Round Top Rifle Hall Monday Night Hamburger Social it set for April 10. The social takes place the second and third Mondays of each month. The hall opens at 5:30 p.m., and the order window is open from 6-8 p.m. All proceeds benefit the continued improvement of the RTRA.

Round Top-Carmine ISD
It’s time for the Kindergarten Round-Up. If your children will be attending Pre-K or Kindergarten at Round Top – Carmine for the 2023 – 2024 school year, please plan to attend this event scheduled for April 4 from 5-5:30 p.m. at the Elementary School. Parents are asked to bring the completed enrollment packet which can be found online. If you are interested in reading a story to the RT-C elementary students, email nbage@rtcist. net.
Transfer and enrollment packets for the 2023 – 2024 school year are now available on the school’s website.
Students are out for a holiday Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10, with an early release on April 14.

The RTAHS museum has free admission every second Saturday of the month from 1-4 p.m. Take the opportunity to view three historical homes and a historical church. Private tours are welcome.

Festival Hill
Round Top Festival Hill’s August to April music series concludes with the Adkins/ Newman Duo on Saturday, April 22 at 3 p.m. in the Festival Concert Hall. Friday, April 28 – Sunday, April 30 will be Poetry at Round Top. This event features three days of poetry panels, workshops, and featured readings by some of the nation’s most highly acclaimed poets.

The Wednesday Lenten services will alternate between St. Paul in Shelby and BLC. A meal is served at 6 p.m. and the service begins at 7 p.m. The March 22 service will be held at BLC.
