The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group (RNNG) is an opportunity for the organizations that do so much good in our rural communities to share their missions and visions, discuss community needs and partnership opportunities, bring in experts to facilitate growth and professionalism, and simply connect to maximize the efficiency and impact that participants can bring to Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca, and surrounding counties. Since reactivating post-pandemic shutdown, the group is more energized than ever, back to meeting monthly, and incorporating an educational aspect into each gathering.

This month United Us will be hosting the RNNG gathering on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. The gathering will be held at the Fayette County Agricultural Building in La Grange (255 Svoboda Ln.). Shelley Mac Allister, Community Engagement Manager with Unite Us, will be facilitating the discussion.

Ms. Mac Allister will be introducing the Unite Us technology and will be including a demonstration while sharing how it might be a beneficial tool for non-profits in Fayette and surrounding counties. There is no fee for non-profits and many other community-based organizations to access the United Us network.

All interested community members and non-profit volunteers or leadership are encouraged to attend. There is no obligation except a willingness to learn more and ask questions.

Unite Us (https://uniteus. com) powers care coordination networks across the state of Tex as and beyond. Through their technology, social and healthcare providers streamline the process of sending and receiving referrals back and forth to each other. Network users track the outcomes of each referral through a closed-loop system right from their computer, so they know if and when help is received. Network participants can email and text clients directly from the platform and share notes with other organizations to help their clients as efficiently as possible but in a secure, private way.

The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group would like to invite all organizations interested participating to attend, as well as there will be a virtual option.
