Rhodes Family Welcomes Baby Girl, Avery Ann

Avery Ann Rhodes was born in Brenham on February 22 at 8:40 a.m. to Kim and Marcus Rhodes of Ellinger. She weighed 6 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 inches long. She was welcomed home by brothers Amari, Austin, and Aubrey.

Shared Lutheran Ministry 

Pastor Bade will lead service in Ellinger at St. John Lutheran on Sunday, March 8.

St. John Lutheran in Ellinger will host the Lenten service on Wednesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. There is no supper during the Wednesday services. The following week will be in Rutersville.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church 

St. Mary’s Catholic Church Mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook

Ellinger Sewer and Water 

ESW will meet Monday, March 9 at 6 p.m. at the fire station.

Ellinger Chamber Commerce Ellinger Chamber Commerce will meet Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. in the chamber dining hall. All chamber and community members are invited to attend.
