Reminder About Political Forums

The Fayette County Republican Party will host the first of four candidate forums this Sunday, Jan 18, at Ellinger Hall in Ellinger.

This forum will feature the Republican candidates for Fayette County Judge and Pct. 2 Commissioner. It will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available. Ellinger Hall is located at 104 W. Colorado Sky in Ellinger.

Three more forums will be held on the following dates:

• Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Schulenburg

KC Hall, 405 South St. in Schulenburg.

• Saturday, Jan. 31 at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club in La Grange, 575 Country Club Dr. in La Grange, and

• Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Flatonia American Legion Hall, 1225 US Hwy. 90 in Flatonia.

Those three forums will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. They will feature the Republican candidates for County Judge and the candidates for Texas House District 85.
