Register for Fayette Co. Fair Bucket Calf Project

As of March 1, registration is now open for the Fayette County Fair Bucket Calf Project. The FCF Bucket Calf Project is a program that was started in the summer of 2021. This project was started to allow for an earlier introduction into the world of agriculture and beef cattle production.

The program is specifically designed for exhibitors ages 4-8 years old. Kids will raise and care for a bottle calf during the feeding period, all the while learning basic care and responsibility for their animal. They will also participate in educational presentations and clinics, followed by the actual show kicking off the Fayette County Fair. Champions will be showcased along Champion Row at the Ag Adventure exhibit.
