Record Welcomes Summer Intern

Charlotte Griffin of La Grange joined the staff of the Fayette County Record this summer as an intern.

She’s heading into her sophomore year of high school. Griffin wants to study journalism in college, inspired partly by the character Rory Gilmore from one of her favorite TV shows, “Gilmore Girls.”

“I love writing and I love talking about everything,” she said.

Griffin especially likes to write about small businesses. This summer she’ll also profile some of the musicians studying at the Round Top Festival Institute.
