The Central Texas Food Bank mobile food pantry will be at the Waldeck Lutheran Church located at 6915 Waldeck Church Lane in Ledbetter on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10-11 a.m. Drive through only.

Exploring Ephesians
La Grange Church of Christ is offering a free seminar this Saturday, Feb. 21 and Sunday, Feb. 22 at La Grange Church of Christ, 646 E. State Hwy. 71, for anyone interested in learning more about the book of Ephesians. Dr. Kevin Burr who teaches Greek and New Testament at Harding University will be guiding people in a depth study of this important letter. The seminar begins at 9 a.m. both days. Coffee and breakfast items will be available. There is no need to RSVP.
There’s more Choral Evensong or sung Evening Prayer will be presented for the first time at the historic Edythe Bates Old Chapel at Festival Hill on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. by Saint Cecilia’s Episcopal Church, Round Top. Held on the First Sunday in Lent, this contemplative chanted service, combines 16th-century Vespers with Night Prayer. It is a meditative, hour-long service in which the choir sings Psalms, the “Magnificat” and other Evening Prayer liturgical settings and interspersed with prayers, hymns, readings and responses. The choir for the evening will feature the Round Top Singers. Service is free and open to the public. Swiss Alp Dance Club
The Swiss Alp Dance Club is having a dance on Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Schulenburg Hall located at 405 West St. in Schulenburg. The band, The Red Ravens, will be providing live music from 2-5:30 p.m. The public is always welcome, the doors open at 1 p.m.
La Grange KC Domino Tourney
The La Grange Knights of Columbus will host a Domino Tournament, Straight and 42, on Sunday, Feb. 22 at the La Grange K of C Community Center located at 190 S. Brown St. in La Grange. Registration at 9 a.m., play at 10 a.m. A barbecue meal will be available for the players.
CDA No. 1962 Meeting
CDA Court Annunciation No. 1962 of La Grange and Plum will be meeting on Monday, Feb. 23 in the Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewicz Center in La Grange at 6:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted for the Family Crisis Center. Members are encouraged to attend. New members are always welcome.
La Grange Community Blood Drive A La Grange Community Blood Drive will be held at the KC Hall located at 190 S. Brown St. in La Grange on Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. This is a date change from Feb. 18. When you donate you receive a free box of Girl Scout cookies. Round Top-Shelby Hermann Sons Lodge 151 will have their monthly meeting on Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Round TopAmerican Legion Hall in Round Top. La Grange Garden Club
The La Grange Garden Club February meeting will be held Thursday, Feb. 26 social at 11:30 a.m. Speaker Lessalyn Koehler, owner/herbalist of Rhizome Rival in Bastrop, will begin at noon. Rhizome Rival is a nonprofit that conducts educational programs on herbs, permaculture and homesteading. Please join and enjoy this program and meet neighbors that also enjoy digging in the dirt. La Grange Garden Club meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at Randolph Recreation Center in La Grange.
La Grange Senior Citizen Game Day The La Grange Senior Citizen Activity Center Inc. will host Game Day on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the City of La Grange Randolph Recreation Center. La Grange KC Fish Fry
The La Grange Knights of Columbus will host a drive-thru only Fish Fry Fundraiser Friday, Feb. 27 from 4-6 p.m. at the La Grange K of C Community Center located at 190 S. Brown St. in La Grange. The meal will consist of fried fish, hushpuppies, cole slaw, pinto beans and buttered potatoes for $15 per plate. The meal is on a first come, first served basis.
The La Grange Knights of Columbus Chromcik Council No. 2574 will host their KC BBQ Sunday, Feb. 22. BBQ chicken and sausage to-go (drive-thru) will be available from 10:30 a.m to 12 noon at the KC Community Center located at 190 Brown St. in La Grange. A slab of pork ribs is $20, chicken is $12 and sausage is $7. Orders are guaranteed on call-ins by calling (979) 968-5117.
Texas Exes Scholarship Fundraiser
The University of Texas at Austin Fayette County Texas Exes Scholarship Fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 7 at 11 a.m. Enjoy a barbecue meal, dessert and silent auction at the Round Top Rifle Hall.
