FWS Meeting

Fayette Water Supply Corporation will be conducting an annual meeting of the board of directors on Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at the FWSC office located at 200 Bordovsky Rd. in La Grange. All members are encouraged to attend.

CDA No. 1962

CDA Court Annunciation No. 1962 of La Grange and Plum will be meeting on Monday, March 27 in the Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewcz Center in La Grange at 6:30 p.m. Sergeant Angela Lala with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office will be the guest speaker and will speak about self defense. All members are invited to attend. New members are always welcome.

German Society

The Fayette County Chapter of the Texas German Society will meet on Monday, March 27 at 5 pm. at the Randolph Rec Center. Guest speaker, Charles Hebert, will present information from his book concerning the Kreische family of La Grange. Visitors are always welcome to attend.

There’s more The Hostyn/Plum annual scholarship fish fry and bake sale will be held Friday, March 31 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the La Grange KC Community Center. Drive-thru only meal will consist of fried fish, buttered potatoes, pinto beans, and cole slaw. Plates are $14. All funds from the bake sale and fish fry benefit the Hostyn/Plum Scholarship Fund. Ths is the last Lenten fish fry.
