Jumpathon

A drive-thru only fish fry meal fundraiser sponsored by Court Annunciation No. 1962-La Grange Catholic Daughters of the Americas will be held on Friday,

March 3 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the KC Community Center in La Grange. The meal will consist of fried catfish, buttered potatoes, pinto beans and cole slaw. To reserve places in advance, call the KC Center at (979) 968-5117.

This coming March, Fayette County Helpers is hosting its annual jumpathon for the elementary schools second grade classes; Sacred Heart Catholic School, La Grange Elementary, and Flatonia Elementary. The event dates are as follows: Tuesday,

March 7 at 9:30 a.m. in Flatonia, Tuesday,

March 7 at 1:30 p.m. in La Grange, and Wednesday,

Sages & Saints

The First United Methodist Church Sages and Saints will take a trip to Brookwood Community on Thursday,

March 9 leaving at 10 a.m. in front of the church and arriving back in La Grange at 3:30 p.m. Reservations are required. RSVP by

There’s more The Round Top Family Library has weekly storytime for 3 and 4 year olds on Wednesdays at 10:15-11 a.m. in the library. Pre-schoolers will hear an age appropriate book and participate in activities such as art, music or a game. Parent or guardian must be present. This is a free program. The library is located at 206 W. Mill St. in Round Top.

Auditions For Newest Production

Fayette County Community Theatre will hold open auditions for the newest production, Drinking Habits, on March 12 at 1 p.m. and March 13 at 5:45 p.m. The auditions will be held at the Sanford SchmidAmphitheater on the grounds of theTexas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center located at 250 W. Fairgrounds Rd. in La Grange.
