Second Chance Holiday Schedule
La Grange City offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 in observance of New Year’s Day. Waste Management will not have a holiday. Residential and commercial garbage service will be on your normal day.
The Second Chamce sales store is open Thursday, Dec. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the last sales day of 2022. Second Chamce will be closed the weekends of Dec. 23-24 and Dec. 30-31. Donations and drop-off will be open Dec. 19-22 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Donations and drop-off will be closed Dec. 23-31.
Texas Heroes Museum Hours
The Texas Heroes Museum will be closed on Saturdays, Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 for Christmas and NewYear’s and will resume operation every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Jan. 7. Please give thanks to the troops who are away from home this holiday season. It is the toughest time of the year to be away from your loved ones.
Board Member Vacancy
The City of La Grange Economic Development Corporation notifies the public of the LGEDC’s Board Member vacancy. The Board is accepting Board Member applications between Dec. 14, to Feb. 7, 2023. Please visit City Hall, 155 E. Colorado, or the City of La Grange website for an application. Applications can be submitted to City Hall or by emailing citysecretary@cityoflg.com. Applications will be reviewed and considered by the LGEDC Board Members. Board Members will provide a recommendation to the City Council of La Grange. City Council will discuss and/or consider and/or appoint the individual to the LGEDC Board.
