Instructor Betty Melton host free yoga classes on Mondays at 5 p.m. at the Round Top Family Library located at 206 W. Mill St. in Round Top.
Feed The Need
Feed the Need, a non-profit organization whose mission is to feed people physically and spiritually, will provide free burgers every Monday at 6:30 p.m. in La Grange at the south east corner of the courthouse square. Everyone is welcome.
Widowed Spouses Support Group
Hospice Brazos Valley will host a Grief Support Group on the third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1l:30 a.m. for anyone who is grieving the loss of a spouse. Hospice Brazos Valley is located at 1048 N. Jefferson in La Grange. For more information, contact Cindy Fanning at (979) 968-6913. You must RSVP so the groups can be small.
Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support
Hospice Brazos Valley will host a Alzheimer’s or Dementia Support Group and will meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Hospice Brazos Valley is located at 1048 N. Community Impact Grant Applications
The Fayette Community Foundation (FCF) is now accepting applications for the 2022 Community Impact Grant Cycle, with a deadline of Sept. 30. All registered non-profits serving 80 miles outside of La Grange, are encouraged to apply. FCF will consider any program that enriches the lives of its citizens; however, funding priorities will be given to community services focused on health, education, housing, and workforce development. Kulhanek Family Reunion
The Celestine and Antonin Kulhanek family will celebrate the 49th family reunion on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. The event will be at Heh Remember When, located at 3031 FM 1921, Fayetteville. Bring your family’s favorite dish for the potluck lunch which will be served at noon. All attendees are encouraged to bring items for the silent auction. A short meeting will immediately follow lunch to discuss the 50th reunion. There will be traditional family games and door prizes. A cash bar will be available.
LHS College, Career and Military Night
La Grange High School College, Career and Military Night open to La Grange ISD students and surrounding county students will be held Monday, Oct. 24 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the La Grange High School Gym, 820 S. Vail, La Grange. Area businesses are invited to set up a booth at the event. A support and education group for a parent or grandparent who is grieving the loss of a child at any age or any stage of the grieving process will be held the fourth Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Hospice Brazos Valley located at 1048 N.
