Quilts of Valor Presented to Baker, Dodson

Recently Quilts of Valor were delivered and wrapped around Robert (Bob) Baker and John Dodson who are Vietnam Veterans. Bob Baker (U.S. Army) was instrumental in forming VVA Chapters in Schulenburg, Hallettsville and La Grange and 30-plus Chapters through out the United States. John Dodson (U.S. Army) was a not only a Founding Member and original officer of VVA 870, but a retired teacher in Schulenburg.

The Quilts of Valor were made and donated by the Colorado Valley Quilting Guild in partnership with the Quilt of Valor Foundation. Quilts of Valor Foundation was founded in 2003 and has presented over 141,000 to Veterans who were touched by war.
