Quilt Guild Makes Donation

Each year, the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild supports the Texas Quilt Museum in many ways. “We appreciate everything the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild does to support us. In addition to the helpful funding, they equip us with “quilt stories” for our Story Time Saturdays which happens every Saturday at 3 p.m. and their talented and knowledgeable members serve as volunteer docents for us. The Texas Quilt Museum would not be the same without them,” states Deborah Bradley. Laurie Talbert, CVQG’s Volunteer Liaison presented Texas Quilt Museum Director, Deborah Blanchette Bradley, with a check for $500, in front of “Passion Flower” by Mary Ann Vaca- Lambert. This three-dimensional quilt is one of the 54 quilts on display at the Texas Quilt Museum through Aug. 26. The Texas Quilt Museum is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit www. TexasQuiltMuseum.org.
