Primary Candidate Announcements

As a service to our readers, folks seeking locally-elected offices are invited to submit one free candidacy announcement letting local voters know more about them and why they are running.

Please limit these to 300 words or less and we can also run a head shot picture of the candidate free with the announcements. Please email these announcements to editor Jeff Wick at jeff@fayettecountyrecord.com.

We will only run these prior to early voting, which begins Feb. 20 this year, so any announcements must be sent to us before Feb. 13 to be run free. Anything after this free announcement must be paid political advertising.

* We will accept and run city/school board announcements after the March 5 primary.
