LGPD Responds to Missing Child Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of April 30-May 6.
Missing Child
On May 4, Keeney responded to the 300 block of Diers on a report of a missing child.
Assault
On May 1, Officer Jeffrey Archerd responded to the 2200 block of Hrbacek and spoke with subject in regard to an assault.
Animal Complaint
On May 1, Animal Control officer Dean Ahlschlager picked up a pit-bull in the 400 block of W. Colorado and it was then taken to the shelter.
On May 2, Ahlschlager picked up a snake in the 1600 block of N. Jefferson On May 4, Ahlschlager picked up an injured hawk in the 600 block of S. Jackson that was then impounded.
On May 4, Ahlschlager put seven chickens back in a pen in the 300 block of S. Vail.
Accident
On May 3, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 100 block of Travis in response to an auto accident.
On May 4, Keeney responded to the 200 block of W. Travis for an auto accident.
Criminal Mischief
On May 3, Keeney responded to the 100 block of W. Colorado in regard to a criminal mischief complaint.
Disturbance
On May 1, Officer Steven Haynie spoke with a subject in the 400 block of S. Washington regarding a disturbance.
On May 2, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of Koening in regard to a verbal disturbance. Parties were separated after speaking with officer.
On May 3, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call-in regard to a verbal disturbance in the 700 block of E. Travis. Upon arrival the officer found the parties had left.
On May 5, Archerd was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regard to a disturbance.
Harassment
On May 1, Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane in regard to harassment.
On May 3, Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of N.
Main in regard to harassment.
On May 5, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Pearl in regard to harassment.
Reckless Driving
On May 1, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Washington in regard to a reckless driver. Officer was unable to locate the driver.
On May 3, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 600 block of N. Franklin for a vehicle peeling out nearby. Officer searched the area but was unable to locate.
Suspicious Person
On May 2, Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Roitsch in regard to a suspicious person.
On May 5, Archerd was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Main in regard to a suspicious person.
Theft
On April 30, Anderson received a call-in regard to a theft in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 business.
Welfare Check
On May 3, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the 1000 block of Springs Loop for a welfare check. Both subjects were found to be fine and the student would return to school the next day.
On May 5, Anderson responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a welfare concern.
On May 6, Archerd checked on a subject in the 100 block of N. College.
Miscellaneous
On May 1, Haynie spoke with a subject concerning a terroristic threat in the 700 block of W. Colorado.
On May 1, Archerd spoke with a subject in the 200 block of S. College in regard to identity theft.
On May 2, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in regard to disorderly conduct.
