PharmHouse Drug Closes in La Grange

PharmHouse Drug Store at the intersection of Highway 77 and Business 71 in La Grange closed this Wednesday.

A worker at the store told the Record that the company notified employees last Wednesday that the store would close for good at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 31.

The worker did not know the reason for the decision. La Grange area residents still have two local pharmacy options: Walmart and H-E-B. PharmHouse Drug was leasing the location.

The worker we spoke with did not know what would happen with the property.
