Person Dies at Motel

A person died in their sleep at the Oak Motel in La Grange. The person was discovered Monday morning, May 6.

Lots of folks driving on US 77 into La Grange Monday morning noticed the large police and EMS presence at the motel.

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath said the body was sent to the Travis County Medical Examiner for an autopsy, but he said the death appeared to be from natural causes.
