Pastor Marcia Kifer Visits St. John

Next Wednesday, March 13 St. John Church in Ellinger will hold service starting at 6:30 p.m. There will not be soup supper. Lenten offerings will be designated for AMEN. The topic for this service is titled “God’s Will and My Worldview.” All are welcome.

St. John in Ellinger will have the monthly loose offering collection for the Discretionary Fund on Sunday, March 10.

St. John in Ellinger will have Easter service at 8 a.m on March 31 with Pastor Phil. Ellinger will also host the Good Friday service at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 29. Make plans to attend.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Ellinger Chamber 

The Chamber will meet on Tuesday, March 12 at 7 p.m. in the dining hall at the chamber building. All chamber and community members are invited to attend.

LGISD 

The school will be out for spring break the week of March 10.

Daylight Savings Time 

Daylight Savings Time will be on March 10, remember ber to turn your clocks one hour ahead when you go to bed on Saturday.

Junior Livestock Show 

Come support the 4H and FFA youth of the county with their projects at the La Grange Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 23. The appreciation social will be held during the sale. The buyer registration will open at 12:30 p.m. followed by the beef heifer review and the ag mechanic review. The sale will then start at 2 p.m.
