Optimist Club Easter Carnival Is This Thursday-Sunday in LG

Merriam’s Midway Carnival is returning to Fayette County Fairgrounds for Easter Weekend, March 28 - 31, sponsored by The La Grange Optimist Club. The carnival opens at 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Free admission. All-you-can-ride armbands are $20.

There will also be an array of carnival food to purchase. Saturday, from 1 - 6 p.m., with a donation of three non-perishable food items to AMEN, arm bands are $17.

Proceeds from the event will help fund La Grange Optimist Club scholarships and sports programs.
