Non-Profit Networking Group to Meet Wednesday

The Rural Nonprofit Networking Group (RNNG) is excited to invite all nonprofit staff and volunteers to join their next gathering which will be held on Wednesday, April 12.

RNNG creates opportunities for the organizations that do so much good in our rural communities to share their missions and visions, discuss community needs and partnership opportunities, bring in experts to facilitate growth and professionalism, and simply connect to maximize the efficiency and impact that participants can bring to Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca, and surrounding counties.

This month, the gathering will be hosted by Fayette County Habitat for Humanity and begins at 10 a.m. The gathering will be held at Blinn College, room 120, (100 Ranger Dr.) in Schulenburg. Kenny Couch, Executive Director for Habitat, will facilitate the discussion. The topic this month is building an effective board. The topic conversation will not only cover how to recruit board members but also how to get them involved in the work and mission of your nonprofit.

For more information on RNNG or this gathering, contact Susannah Mikulin with Fayette Community Foundation (512) 791-7096, Susie Shank with ACCSS (979) 820-8964, Cheryl Pekar with Stanzel Family Foundation (979) 743-9119 or Kenny Couch with Fayette County Texas Habitat for Humanity (979)561-7211.
