New Turtle Wing Programs in LG And Schulenburg
Turtle Wing Foundation has been busy at work partnering with new businesses and organizations to create opportunities for Turtle Wing kids throughout Fayette, Lavaca, and Colorado counties. Here is a list of new opportunities and how to register for the Spring.
ARTS Afterschool Program: This program is facilitated by Arts for Rural Texas. The La Grange class still has some openings. The class will occur on Mondays from 4-5 p.m. and is available to 2nd-6th graders.
The Schulenburg Class still has some openings as well. The class will be held from 4-5 p.m. onThursdays for grades 4th-7th. Reach out to info@artsforruraltexas. org for more information. This is a free program.
Theatrical Turtles in La Grange: This program is facilitated by Fayette County Community Theatre. This program is available to 1st-6th graders on Tuesdays from 4-5 p.m. Turtle Wing Foundation is underwriting a portion of the cost of this program, so the cost to parents will be $40/month. These programs are for Turtle Wing kids only. What does it mean to be a “Turtle Wing kid”? Turtle Wing Foundations mission is helping individuals with learning challenges in rural areas achieve their full potential. Turtle Wing serves those with academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and/or developmental needs.
