New Life Methodist Church Hosts Free Community Archery Day for All Ages

New Life Methodist Church in La Grange is excited to announce a community archery program for children and youth of all skill levels.

On Saturday, April 18, from 10 - 11:30 a.m., New Life Methodist Church is holding their second “Come Try It” Day, featuring new fun activities and training in addition to what was presented in the first session. Whether you’ve never picked up a bow or haven’t shot since summer camp, this is your chance to try archery in a supportive, family-friendly setting.

New Life Methodist Church will provide everything you need - brand new Genesis Bows, Morrell Archery targets, and all necessary safety gear. Adult volunteers are certified instructors, trained under the USA Archery curriculum, so you can expect clear, expert guidance whether you’re aiming for your first bullseye or just curious about the sport.

Archery Fun Day is all about relaxed, no-pressure fun. There’s no cost to participate, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
