New Bielau Reunion Part of New PBS TV Series

McCowan is organizing a panel of musicians who played at the hall from the 19601990s. They’ll hold a discussion about their memories of the hall. In addition, audience members will have an opportunity to tell their stories. And then a 30-minute compilation from the video will be shown.

“I want it to be really organic,” McCowan said. “I just want people to kind of get up and tell their stories.”

McCowan will film the event for inclusion in his upcoming TV series, which will premier on PBS later this year.

The event begins at 1 p.m. and will wrap up around 4 p.m., McCowan said. There may be an after-party as well, he said.
