Muffins & Mufflers and More in Flatonia

There’s no doubt about it. On Saturday, Flatonia reigned as Fayette County’s classic automobile headquarters as dozens of shiny restored trucks and cars rolled into town for Muffins and Mufflers! This was the third annual vintage car show hosted by Darlin’s Diner restaurant. Closed to through traffic, South Main Street was the place to ogle glistening vintage rides, sit back and listen to live music, visit local vendors’ booths, eat (of course), and people-watch. This fun, outdoor, family-friendly afternoon event supporting the Turtle Wing Foundation was more than a classic car show. It was a satisfying community gathering for locals and visitors alike.
