Moulton Jamboree Kicks-Off Annual Celebration July 27
As a kickoff to the annual community festival of the Moulton Jamboree, Zion Lutheran Church in Moulton will be hosting the 11th annual community jamboree celebration on Wednesday, July 27 beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a music concert in Zion’s sanctuary by Ronnie Bruns and his band the Blended Blessings. Zion is located at 307 North Hackberry.
This will be followed by an Open Communion Service designed by Mr. Bruns with Pastor Herb Beyer presiding. Men of the church will provide a meal of sausage, sauerkraut, and potatoes, along with other potlucktype side-dishes and dessert by attendees. An ice cream social will follow.
This is a great way to come together as community, as fellow Christians, to enjoy fellowship and food, and to pray for peace and civility in our nation, for the safety of our children, teachers, and others in our schools, for the families in our nation who have lost loved ones because of violence, to pray for the people of Ukraine who desire freedom and peace, and yes, for the much needed rain. It’s also a time to thank God for the many blessings God gives daily. This is a time to turn to God. We welcome all to this evening of worship, praise, prayer, fellowship and fun.
Anyone may attend, those planning on attending, are asked to R.S.V.P. (let us know beforehand you’re coming) to the church office at (361) 596-4928 or email @zionlc01@att.net or Pr. Beyer at (361) 798-0155.
