Military Ball Being Planned for May 18

An Armed Forces Appreciation Dinner and Dance will be May 18, at 6 p.m. (Doors open 5 p.m.) at the American Legion Hall in Flatonia.

Music and entertainment will be by Victor Rodriguez and there will be a catered meal, silent auction, door prices, and a 50/50 drawing.

Tickets are $20 and may be donated and will be given to veterans and their spouses or surviving spouses.

The event is presented by American Legion Flatonia Post 94, La Grange Post 102, Schulenburg Post 143, Shelby Post 609, Marine Corps League Colorado Detachment 1028, Praha Veterans, La Grange Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5254 and Vietnam Veterans of America chapter 870 and their auxiliaries.

Sponsorship levels available: Red: $100 – your gift will sponsor five deserving veterans to attend – your name in veteran slide show White: $175 – your name in veteran slide show and at your table, one table (eight seats) Blue: $200 – your name in veteran slide show, logo on table, and preferred seating, one table (eight seats) Silver: $375 – company logo/name in veteran slide show, on table and preferred seating, two tables (16 seats) Gold: $450 – company logo/name in veteran slide show, on table and two front row tables (16 seats).
